Irish sports performance and data science company Orreco and UAE Sports Management Company IVSM have joined forces to develop a collaborative services offering for elite sports organizations, leagues, teams and athletes.

Orreco, headquartered in Galway, Ireland and IVSM, based in Abu Dhabi, will integrate information and data from the elite athletes and teams. This will include metabolic information showing what’s happening inside an athlete’s body, analysis from medical experts, evidence-based recommendations as well as kinematic, performance and subjective data from athletes and coaches.

How It Works

The way Orreco’s products work is the company profiles an athlete’s bio-markers in their blood and then feeds the information into its machine learning software.  This will provide insights into optimal training conditions as well as even fine tuning sleep patterns and diet, as well as training programs that can be customized for each player as the system gathers more repetitions through data.
Rapid Biomarker Testing

A pinprick blood sample is collected from the finger or earlobe. The tests are completed in 4-6 minutes and integrate easily into your training schedule.

Adaptive Ranges

Data-driven and AI-powered technologies identify each athlete’s individual thresholds. These ranges adapt dynamically as more data are collected, continually increasing in precision over time.

Actionable Insights

Results are delivered through our Zone software platform. You get an instant signal for any increased injury, illness or overreaching risk along with advisory comments and recovery strategies.
